Promotions are on for the first zombie-film in India, Go Goa Gone which is slated to release on May 10. Director-duo Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K. have taken up a special message to spread through the film’s promotional campaign, 'Say no to drugs'.

According to the Go Goa Gone makers, "As the name suggests, the film is related to Goa but nothing derogatory. The people in Mumbai and elsewhere have a perception about Goa that it is a place where people go to sit, relax, party, chill, but all in good sense. What happens there is our version of the story.” They added on, "But there is a message at the end of the film ? Say no to drugs. If you do drugs then you will turn into a zombie.”

While talking about the unique looks demanded by a zombie film, the directors clarified, "It is very tough because it is the first of its kind here. It is the most challenging thing. The prosthetics and expertise is not there. We have found a lot of experts from round the world. We did a lot of experiments on looks over skype to get the look right.” They told further, "But at the same time we did not intend to go too gory just to shock or scare people. We wanted to get the right zombie effect, they look original and authentic.” The Saif Ali Khan-starrer is co-produced by the actor himself. The film also stars Kunal Khemu, Vir Das, Anand Tiwari and Puja Gupta.
