Govinda Might Now Only Do Special Appearances For These People
Ranbir Kapoor's Jagga Jasoos gave him one more failure of his Bollywood career. It released last week and didn’t fare well at the box-office. Ranbir’s father, Rishi Kapoor, lashed out at director Anurag Basu and even spoke about Govinda's scene being cut from the movie. He even called Basu an irresponsible filmmaker.
He said, You (Anurag Basu) even threw Govinda out of the film. If you don't want Govinda to work in your film, why did you ask him in the first place? Iss sab mein Ranbir ka naam toh kharaab hoga, aur kya? Mera kharaab hoga! (With these developments, it's Ranbir and my name that's gathered negative limelight)". Govinda has now opened up about this and thanked Rishi for his support.
The Partner actor said "I want to say, 'Thank you Rishi sir. At last, you showed concern. Good blood never speaks wrong'." He added that he has great respect for Raj Kapoor saab and Rishi Kapoor is no different for him. However, he maintained that he will now not do more special appearances in films until and unless it’s for the Kapoors or Salman Khan's family.
