Iconic Bollywood villain Gulshan Grover will be playing legendary artist M F Husains role in filmmaker Shashank Shekhars next film based on the life of the world-renowned painter, sources said. In the film, Grover will reportedly sport long hair coupled with the trademark stubble of Husain, and also move around barefoot in an attempt to keep the artists portrayal as authentic as possible. Gulshan said, "I'm in an interesting phase of my career with filmmakers putting greater faith in me as an actor. When I was offered the role, inspired by the legendary artist and woven in a touching story, I loved it and took it up". According to sources, the actor also practised painting before he started the shooting.
