Bollywood superstars Salman Khan and auteur Karan Johar were in talks to team up together in order to produce a movie which will be starring Akshay Kumar. The movie was titled as ‘Battle of Saragarhi’. Now, it is being said that the plan has been shelved because Salman Khan has turned his back on the project.

According to rumours, it is being said that the reason behind Salman’s backing out from the project is the fallout between Salman and her former manager Reshma Shetty, who is now handling Akshay as her client. The manager was the catalyst that led to the decision of Salman’s SKF and Karan’s Dharma Productions getting together on a project. Therefore, it is being said that the Dabangg star does not wants her presence, so he himself has opted out of the project.

Another rumour of Salman moving out of the project is that Singham star Ajay Devgn also had the plans to make the same movie based on battle of Saragarhi. As of now, it is unknown that the Wanted star has opted out or not. Regarding Akshay Kumar, the Khiladi will be next seen in Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ which is slated to release on August 11, 2017.
