Has Shivaay Got A Pakistani Connection?

The recent Uri attack has caused a storm in the country because of which the Indian Motion Pictures Association (IMPAA) banned Pakistani actors to work in the Indian industry. The decision divided the Bollywood celebs as some defended the move and some were against this. Ajay Devgn supported the action taken by the IMPAA. However, Ajay’s upcoming release, Shivaay, has a Pakistani connection. But, wait...there’s no Pakistani actor in it.

You must be guessing what is could be? Well, its Vir Das. According to BollywoodLife, there are five villains in the flick and Ajay, who is playing the lead, will have to fight with the four to get hold of the fifth one. If reports are to be believed, Das is playing a Pakistani character. Talking about his role, the Revolver Rani actor said, “I was surprised when Ajay offered me a role in Shivaay but It’s not a negative character. I play a Pakistani hacker but cannot reveal anything more about it right now as I am under contract”.

Reports also added that earlier, a Pakistani born actor was finalised for a role in Shivaay. However, it couldn’t work out. On a related note, Shivaay is slated for a release on October 28, which is also the release date of Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
