Hrithik Roshan opted out of Shuddhi over financial issues?

One of the most sought after Bollywood hunks, Hrithik Roshan, has ditched Karan Johar’s Shuddhi not because of health hazards or personal issues but for a serious financial row, if latest reports are to be believed.

While Hrithik’s fans and the entire media have been speculating about the reason of the actor’s sudden decision, the latest buzz has reported that he was not pleased with a profit-sharing agreement with Karan. Reports say that Hrithik asked for a significant fraction of the film’s profits which could be estimated as 40 percent. But Karan was not interested in agreeing to his demands. Hence Hrithik opted to walk out of the project.
Shuddhi was announced almost a year ago and since then the film has been going through several ups and downs regarding its casting net. First it was Hrithik who made an exit from the project and then his female lead Kareena Kapoor Khan followed his footsteps. Then Deepika Padukone approached by Karan for Shuddhi but it has recently been confirmed that she is doing Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani. However Hrithik’s replacement has not been found yet, though big names like Shah Rukh Khan, Ranveer Singh and Aamir Khan have been doing the rounds.
