Huma Qureshi fantasised by her next project’s title

Actress Huma Qureshi, who was last seen in Dedh Ishqiya, readily agreed to become a part of director Sriram Raghavan’s next, Badlapur, as the title fancied her a lot. But when she accepted the offer she had no idea that there is also a place in reality with the same name.

The title sounded quite interesting to Huma and he enquired about the same from the film team. Huma, who is born and brought up in Delhi, was quite taken aback to know that Badlapur is a place located in Mumbai. Huma liked the name so much that she even decided to have a trip to Badlapur and had great fun on her day trip. Huma said in a statement, "Yes. Badlapur is an interesting name. It was a fun trip.” The production of the film is set to go on the floors soon along with Huma and her male lead, Varun Dhawan.
