Bollywood movies have started facing the heat from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) as the Board has started taking stricter action on kissing and intimate scenes ahead of the formation of the new government. The first victim of this stricture is Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan’s upcoming film, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya.

Sources reported that after watching the first trailer the CBFC has urged Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya makers to delete the lip-lock between Alia and Varun in the movie. Producer Karan Johar is completely taken aback with such action and complained that such move was not taken for 2 States, Jism 2, Ragini MMS 2 and many others which have lots of kissing and lovemaking scenes. Sources have also claimed that as a new government is in the making CBFC has decided to take special deterrent measures and have also asked regional offices to have a stricter check on the content of all regional movies. Johar has been asked to edit the kissing scene by using a long shot. The new Modi government’s regulations about movies are awaited by the censor board as history says earlier the NDA government banned showing cleavage on big screens.
