I Am Not Getting Any Commercial Films Now: Kalki Koechlin

Actress Kalki Koechlin is not the one to mince words. She speaks her mind and has stood for everything that she feels is not right. Given the fact that the audiences recognize Kalki as a strong women, the actress feels that she’s a victim of her own image.

The statement from the actress that she is not getting offers of commercial movies comes as a surprise for her fans. The reason is her active participation in the offbeat movies. The Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara actress’ work in movies such as Dev.D, Shaitan, and That Girl in Yellow Boots, was well acclaimed from prominent people of the movie business.

However, she also did few commercial films like Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. When asked about doing more commercial films, she said, “But I am not getting any commercial films now. People kind of slot you after each performance. You have to constantly break that”.

The actress is currently busy with a documentary, Azmaish-Trials of Life.
