I am still known as Mahesh Bhatt's daughter, says Alia Bhatt

Newbie Alia Bhatt has won the hearts of many inside and outside the industry via her splendid performance in Highway, released this year. Somehow Alia still feels that she still is known by her dad’s name. The actress has also expressed her desire that she would love to see that day when people will make out Mahesh Bhatt as her father.

Alia said, “I do want to create my own identity," she said, "I only want to be a good actor. Though people talk so highly about me after seeing my performance in Highway, I still remember the time when my first film released and people would say that she won't go long and is not a good actor. It really pained me, but no amount of success or failure will change me ever. I don't think I have managed to make a mark, and I am still known as Mahesh Bhatt's daughter. But I am sure that one day he will be known as Alia Bhatt's father.”
