    Popular TV actor Rajeev Khandelwal, who is now a well known face of Bollywood industry, says that his desire to grow up as an actor motivated him to join Indian Cinema. "In TV, I was stuck for years. I wanted to grow up." Khandelwal quoted. Agreeing to the fact that television has wider reach than cinemas, the actor states that he wants to be the part of both the media. He said that actors in other countries tossed both serials and films, "but here the perception is different. I don't wish to be constrained by perceptions".

    The next big project in Rajeev’s kitty happens to be a suspense thriller film ‘Fever’ which is written & directed by Rajeev Jhaveri, and produced by Ravi Agrawal and Mahesh Balekundri. The versatile actor said, "I can't do singing and dancing type of things." Khandelwal further added, "I need script, I need content. Masala films are also a part of industry and the most important thing being for you to walk into a cinema hall and walk out happily."

    The actor, who last appeared in Samrat & Co., wishes to be a part of a film based on Bengal's Durga Puja. "This is a new territory for me. From Kaushik (Ghatak) to Kaushik (Ganguly), I will love love to work with all creative men."
