I Saw Myself Change As An Actor With Raabta: Kriti Sanon

Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon starrer Raabta released last month but didn’t fare well at the box-office and was not received well by the audience. Helmed by Dinesh Vijan, the flick was co-produced by Homi Adajania and Bhushan Kumar. The film was based on reincarnation. At a recent interview, Kriti talked about why the film didn’t work.

She said, “Sometimes when you try to do something different, it may or may not resonate with the audience. But what matters is whether you gave your 100 percent or not. Raabta was a great experience and I learned a lot while working on this film. I saw myself change as an actor. We did try 30 minutes of another world and it was a unique attempt. But most of the audience didn’t resonate with it and that alright. We should just move on”.

However, she thinks that it is the audiences’ response which matters her the most. She said, “I think any form of appreciation makes you feel happy. We all work hard and give our best, so whether we get awards or love of the audience, it is all overwhelming. For me, the audience’s appreciating the film is more important as we eventually work to entertain them”.

On a related note, the actress will be next seen in Bareilly Ki Barfi.
