I Would Love To Do A Dance Film Now: Shahid Kapoor

No doubt, Shahid Kapoor is one of the topmost actors who have not only mastered on-screen expressions but are also well-versed with the poetry of the foot. The Shaandaar actor has worked in a dance-based flick, ‘Chance Pe Dance’ (2010), which was helmed by director Ken Ghosh. Recently, the Haider actor said that he would like to give the genre a try again.

“I would love to do a dance film now. I hope I can dance well enough though because people are doing such a good job today with their dancing. I guess CPD didn’t work because it was a bad film”, stated Shahid, adding, “The ones that are made now are better. So there’s no wrong or right time to make a film”.

The 35-year-old actor believes that people likes a film if it is made well. “Dance is a very exciting space and there’s a huge audience for that. So yes, definitely, the audience has grown now. There’s more awareness and excitement about dance now. There are more people wanting to dance than maybe six-seven years back. You make a good film in any genre and it should work”, Shahid said.

Well, after ‘ABCD: Anybody Can Dance’ and ABCD 2, we too support Shahid’s statement that the audience of the current generation is more aware about dance. But be it an older one or a newer one, the enthusiastic dancer and his grooves can undoubtedly win hearts of any age group.
