Iconic SRK-Kajol duo to work with Rohit Shetty?

As lovely as it sounds, we may soon watch Shahrukh and Kajol together back on screen. If rumours are to be given an ear, we hear that Rohit Shetty has apparently approached Kajol to pair opposite Shahrukh Khan in his next to which she has given a pretty positive response.

A leading website has reported that the Golmaal director has made up his mind to bring together the DDLJ pair on screen for his next. The casting for the project has begun and the official announcement may happen anytime soon. The untitled project is in its pre-production stage and will hit the floors as soon as the actors are able to accommodate it in their schedule. Kajol who hasn’t come on screen post Dharma’s We Are Family will look at this project as a healthy prospect to make a comeback through. The website reported that since Kajol’s hubby Ajay Devgn shares a great rapport with Rohit, it wasn’t hard for him to convince her to get on board.

Shahrukh and Kajol who share a wonderful chemistry on and off the screen were last seen together in Karan Johar’s My Name is Khan. The pair in the past has given us gems like Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Baazigar, Karan Arjun, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham. This is going to be no less than a pleasing treat for the fans if the project does shape up the way it is being brought up as.
