We’ve always been of the opinion that actor Jimmy Shergill has the potential to handle the acting pressure quite well. In the throng of talent and success, the cinematic journey of this actor couldn’t really formulate the way he would have liked but yet, he believes, he’s doing all fine.

After being restrictedly subjected to playing supporting roles in movies, Jimmy says he is ‘happy’ doing such roles. “I am getting good supporting roles, and that’s why I am doing it. These days who is doing solo hero films? Now we see two to three lead characters in all films… things have changed. If I can show my talent through supporting roles, then why not? I am being offered powerful roles. I don’t see whether it’s a lead or anything else. I am happy,” he said.

Jimmy, who played a rather interesting character in Tanu Weds Manu will now be reprising his role in the sequel as well. Terming it a sequel in true sense, Jimmy thinks the film will score big. “I did this film because people still remember my role in ‘Tanu Weds Manu’. This is a sequel in a true sense… the film is not made just for the heck of it. I am quite satisfied with my role in this film,” he added. While he continues to be content with his share of supporting roles, we’d like to convey to him that we like him in whatever he comes. Way to go Jimmy!
