Infographic: The Jungle Book Picture Story!

In an attempt to remind you of the good old childhood days, we tried to summarize 'The Jungle Book' magic in the best possible pictorial way. Our version of Jungle Book might differ from yours, but that is strictly because there's a difference between the book version and the movie details. One of the eye-catchy difference is in the portrayal of Kaa's (the python) character, she is a mentor to Mowgli in the book while the cartoon and the movie shows otherwise.

However, 'The Jungle Book' remains that one story that we have all grown up with and despite these minute differences, we will continue to remember Mowgli and his adventures in the jungle. The story starts with the a human kid being raised by the 'Akela' wolf pack along with Baloo (the bear) and Bagheera (the panther). 

Along with his wolf brothers, Mowgli learns to hunt, he learns the language of the jungle and also the lifestyle that he soon becomes accustomed to. But staying in the jungle has not been easy for Mowgli, especially dealing with Sher Khan (the tiger) who is Mowgli's staunch enemy and tries to kill him from the very beginning. Mowgli has had different adventures in the jungle including the famous case of kidnapping by 'Bandar-logs'.

Well, as the time passes by and Mowgli grows up, the sword of danger over his head keeps hanging. It becomes difficult for Mowgli to spend more time in the jungle. And he ultimately finds himself away from Mumma-Papa wolf and closer to a village life. He is adopted by a woman called 'Messua', but with the turn of events, he is called a sorcerer and is lynched out of the village. 

Though he vows to stay with his family in the jungle for the rest of his life, he finds himself drawing back to the human life when he hears about atrocities with his adoptive parents. 

'The Jungle Book' is by far the most popular story amongst the kids.
