Irrfan Khan says Tigmanshu is as brilliant as Vijay Anand

The friendship of actor Irrfan Khan and director Tigmanshu Dhulia is not unknown. They have been friends since Irrfan starred in the filmmaker’s first filmHaasiland the former feels Tigmanshu’s filmmaking is of legendary Hindi filmmaker Vijay Anand’s calibre. "Tigmanshu Dhulia is like director Vijay Anand. He is a brilliant director," Irrfan said praising hisPaan Singh Tomardirector which brought him many awards this year. The actor, who is also working in Dhulia's sequelSaheb Biwi Aur Ganster Returns,further said,"Every director has his own style and Tigmanshu too has his own. We never do homework when we go on his sets. We don't do a character sketch because Tigmanshu has his own vision and he expects us to go by that vision, I have worked with him for a long time now and he has always stood by me and I think it's my good fortune to be working under a director like him".
