Irrfan not upset, wishes Jackky luck for Welcome to Karachi

Rubbishing the rumours about Irrfan Khan being disappointed about Jackky Bhagnani filling his shoes in Ashish R Mohan’s Welcome to Karachi, the senior actor had infact wished Jackky good luck for the release, in an event held recently. It is clear that the Padma Shri award recipient is not only mature in his acting skills but also is mature in handling the situations. The flick is slated to hit the theatres on May 28.

Both were seen sharing a great rapport, with no signs of hostility. “Jackky and Irrfan arrived at the venue around the same time and it was a pleasant surprise to see both of them greet each other so warmly. The two then stuck to a corner of the room for a while and everyone could see that they were clearly having a light-hearted moment", confirmed a source, present in the same event.

When the Youngistaan star was asked about his meeting with Irrfan, he said, “For a long time now, I've been a huge Irrfan Khan fan. Yes, I was a little disappointed that he couldn't do Welcome to Karachi, but when we met, there was no negativity at all. We spoke for quite a while, and he told me that he liked the trailer of the film and wished me all the luck for the release. In fact, we even took a selfie”.
