Is Priyanka Chopra In India To Announce Her Next Project?

Juggling between her Hollywood and Bollywood projects has made Priyanka’s life hectic. Though the actress is making waves in Hollywood, but she has not left her roots. Along with her Hollywood projects, Priyanka is very much involved in her Bollywood projects too.

After completing the shooting of her second Hollywood outing ‘Isn’t It Romantic’, the actress has landed in Mumbai to finalise her next Bollywood project. She will stay in the city for two weeks. A report in Midday has stated that the main reason for Priyanka for her Mumbai trip is Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gustakhiyan, the film which will document the tumultuous relationship between the poet Sahir Ludhianvi and author Amrita Pritam.

Though Priyanka has been finalised to play Amrita Pritam, the male lead has not been finalised. The 35-year-old along with Sanjay hopes to finalise the leading man for the flick. Earlier, there were reports that Irrfan Khan will essay the role of Sahir Ludhianvi, however nothing has been finalised.

The report further stated that the makers want to finalise the leading man by this month. Bhansali is determined to start shooting the film by mid-2018. The pre-production work of the flick will begin from March next year.
