One of the megastars of Bollywood Aamir Khan has grown a year older as he turns 48 today. He is one of the few Bollywood actors who stars in one film a year, assuring it would be one of the most talked about films in the B-town. His latest releaseTalaashwas a smash hit and Aamir Khan’s fan-club is eagerly looking forward to his upcoming release the much-awaitedDhoom 3, which is expected to hit screens this year.

Born in a filmy family in 1965 on this day, Aamir Khan followed his family tradition and debuted as a child actor inYaadon Ki Baaraatin 1973. And in 1988, he shot to fame and stardom with his first successful commercial movieQayamat Se Qayamat Tak.
