It’s Arjun Kapoor taking on Manoj Bajpai in ruthless, impactful ‘Tevar’ trailer

2015 is set to begin with some style. The trailer of the much awaited Arjun-Sonakshi starrer ‘Tevar’ has finally come out. The riding trailer that narrates an entertaining story of a small Indian town is not just enthralling but engaging too. It’s all about the ‘macho’ Arjun taking on the ‘charismatic’ Manoj Bajpai.

The film marks the debut of Sanjay Kapoor as a producer as he breaks into the making for the first time. Directed by a yet another debutant Amit Ravindernath Sharma, Tevar shows an appealing story of a small town hero trying to protect a girl from a political villain who’s forcing her to marry him. The turn of events, one liners and action sequences are looking good, while Arjun and the rest of the cast looks impressive. The stand out factor without doubt remains Manoj Bajpai who promises another show stealing performance for us to enjoy. Sonakshi Sinha might appear a little repetitive in the choices she’s making but Tevar might just get her something more.

The film is said to be inspired from the 2003 Telugu hit Okkadu starring Mahesh Babu and Bhumika Chawla. Tevar is scheduled to release on January 9^th next year so let’s hope it delivers what it promises.
