    Actor Jagdish Raj has passed away at the age of 85. The star actor was suffering from respiratory problems for the past two years and has died due to respiratory arrest yesterday. He has played the role of a police inspector in 144 movies. Boxer, Gopichand Jasoos, Aasman Se Ooncha, Ram Teri Ganga Maili, Mehak and Paap Ka Anth are some of his films.

    Jagdish holds the Guinness World Record for being “The Most Typecast Actor”. The actor was given this title because of the number of flicks he did as a police officer. No other actor in Indian film industry has done these many movies as a cop. Jagdish Raj was also a part of 1970 hit film Johny Mera Naam, the actor enacted a crucial role in the film.
