Juhi Chawla Comes To Deepika Padukone's Rescue With Regards To Padmavati!

It seems that no one is able to restrain oneself from speaking over the ongoing Padmavati controversy. Film industries across the country have been favouring the film but director Sanjal Leela Bhansali and actress Deepika Padukone continued to get threats, even the release of the film has been postponed without any future date. Now, Juhi Chawla had come forward for the film.

Juhi recently said, "I am not speaking of 'Padmavati' the film but the threats were not right. You watch the same heroine in other films, go crazy for her, you love her so much, she has tremendous fan following. Then, to threaten her like this, I didn't feel was right."

Juhi was speaking at the launch of "Bheem- Destiny's Warrior", a book by Jyotin Goel.  The actress added that at the end of the day, films are made by directors, by the team and audience are playing a part. She advised that just for that reason, a little sensitivity is needed and people should have patience. The film had been continuously critized by Rajput groups who alleged the movie of portraying the late Padmavati wrongly.
