Juhi Chawla’s Hollywood dream comes true, though on a small scale

Actress-turned-producer Juhi Chawla is advancing a step forward in her career. After mesmerising her fans as a baddie in Gulaab Gang it’s time for Juhi to focus on her next release, which is a Hollywood project, with world-famous filmmaker Steven Spielberg, who is co-producing the same.

Juhi is pretty shy while talking about her new project, “It’s a very small role.” She will be seen as Om Puri’s wife in the film, titled The Hundred-Foot Journey, directed by Lasse Hallstrom. This film also stars Hollywood actress Helen Mirren. Juhi, who experienced huge fun during the film’s shooting, also added, “Of course, I’m still quite excited about it, but I wish I had a ­longer role in the film.” She went on saying, “Steven Spielberg is iconic... that revered kind of ­filmmaker. It was an altogether different experience to work on a Hollywood project.” Presently the Darr actress is enjoying her vacation with her family celebrating the win of Kolkata Knight Riders at IPL, which is co-owned by the actress.
