After Beating Sultan’s Opening Day Collection, Here’s How Kabali Has Beaten Sultan Again!

Charting over its humongous hype over the globe, while Rajinikanth starrer Kabali has shattered a lot of box office records, the film has now beaten that one significant milestone that only Salman Khan starrer Sultan had to its name. Having already beaten its opening day numbers of 37 crores by a huge margin, Kabali has now left Salman Khan behind once again, here’s how!

After Beating Sultan’s Opening Day Collection, Here’s How Kabali Has Beaten Sultan Again!

The popular trailer of Sultan that drew a lot of attention to itself had eventually become the most watched trailer in India ever with a little over 30 million views. However now, Thalaiva has beaten him yet again. The teaser of Kabali that apparently was the only give away by the makers has sail passed Sultan’s trailer numbers and has become the most viewed teaser/trailer on Youtube in India. Sultan has a total of 30,650,990 views on its trailer as we speak while Rajinikanth’s crisp appearance in Kabali teaser has minted 30,744,840 views. Watch Sultan's trailer here:

It has been for the first time on social viewership that a Tamil release trailer has come out on top. What’s more interesting to see here is that all versions of Baahubali’s trailer (Tamil, Telugu & Hindi) put together do not come close to the number Kabali’s Tamil teaser has put on. The humongous craze only goes out to show that it is Rajinikanth’s fever in complete totality that his fans have been watching the teaser over and over again. Also important to note is that the makers did not reveal any second teaser or trailer for the movie that eventually resulted in hyping the overall appeal of the teaser. Watch Kabali's teaser here:

With so many biggies lined up this year, it will be interesting to see which trailer catches the eye of the viewers the most. Could it be yet another Southern biggie Baahubali next year? Could it be Aamir Khan’s Dangal?
