Kajol making her Cinematic comeback, Ajay Devgn producing it

If there’s any actress the Indian audience longs to watch on screen, Kajol has to be the one. The actress who turns 40 in a week’s time has apparently refrained herself from doing a lot of films post her marriage. What comes as a good news for all her fans is that the talented actress is all set to return on screen in a movie which will be produced by her husband Ajay Devgn.

It’s going to be a women centric film and will be directed by Ram Madhvani, the famous ad film maker. Kajol has been extremely selective on the films that she’s done over the last ten years. After her long awaited comeback in Fanaa, she was seen in Ajay’s directorial debut ‘U Me Aur Hum’, Karan Johar’s ‘My Name Is Khan’ followed by his production ‘We Are Family’. When Sridevi made her comeback in women oriented ‘English Vinglish’, it came as a very sweet treat and the audience would hope for a sweeter comeback for Kajol.

Talking about it, Ajay said "Kajol will be doing a film this year. It will hopefully go on floors from October end. It will be produced by me and directed by (ad filmmaker) Ram Madhvani.” However the actor refused to give away any details about the story, "We cannot reveal the subject. It is a woman-centric film. We are looking for a hero. I would only be producing the film. I won't be part of it," he said. Well let’s only hope that the project shapes up soon and we get to watch the charming actress expressing her emotions on screen again, after all she’s an institution of acting in herself.
