    Few noted personalities of Hindi, Tamil and Telugu industry will be awarded with the third highest civilian award and the fourth highest civilian award, Padma Bhushan and Padma Shri respectively this year. Well, actor-director Kamal Haasan, lyricist-writer Vairamuthu and classical singer Begum Parveen Sultana are selected for Padma Bhushan award while Vidya Balan and Paresh Rawal will be amongst Padma Shri winners.

    Haasan has partaken in numerous ventures and his remarkable flicks include Moondram Pirai, Nayagan in Tamil cinema, while Sadma, Hey Ram, Chachi 420 and few more in Hindi film industry. Vairamuthu is a renowned Tamil lyricist, whereas Begum Parveen has given contribution in Patiala Gharana. The 36-year-old Vidya Balan elected for Padma Shri for films like Paa, Ishqiya, No One Killed Jessica, The Dirty Picture, dedicated her award in the name of her family. Veteran actor Paresh Rawal will be awarded with Padam Shri for his stunning performances in Oh My God, Hera Pheri, Sir and Sardar.


    More icons what adds to the list of Padma award achievers this year are Bengali actresses Sabitri Chatterje, Supriya Devi, writer-director Sooni Taraporvala, Taraporvala. Theatre personality Bansi Kaul and Mohammad Ali Baig, filmmaker and cinematographer Santosh Sivan, TV actress Nayana Apte Joshi, musician Musafir Ram Bhardwaj, Manipuri dancer Elam Endira Devi, Kathak dancer from Bengal Rani Karnaa, film animator Ram Mohan and dancer Kalamandalam Sathyabhama will also be honoured.
