As we await his debut acting stint in the badass villain avatar in Anurag Kashyap’s Bombay Velvet, Karan Johar has already expressed his desire to continue pursuing acting. At the second trailer launch event of the film, Karan said he would be open to do supporting roles in films and continue acting.

Riding on high hopes to have a successful outing as an actor, Karan said, “I am open to offers. I don’t have a delusion that I can do lead roles, but good supporting roles I will do.” However, he made it clear that wouldn’t be directing himself. “I will never direct myself. I can’t be my own liability,” he added.

Talking about his director Anurag Kashyap, Karan jokingly said that he would never cast him in any of his directorial. “I will not cast Anurag in my film. I only take good-looking actors. I will not make a film where Anurag fits in. Can you imagine Anurag in ‘New York’? You see him in ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’ kind of films,” he added. Bombay Velvet also starring Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma will hit the screens on May 15.
