Here's What Karan Johar Said About Casting SRK And Ranbir Kapoor For His Next

After Shah Rukh Khan’s cameo in Karan Johar’s most recent flick Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Ranbir and SRK’s pairing was greatly appreciated by the audiences. Since then, talks have been going around that KJo has cast both SRK and Ranbir for his next directorial venture. As much as we would like this to be true, it isn’t. The director recently took to Twitter to deny these rumors.

While these rumors have been negated once before, fans wanted the duo to come together so badly that they still kept holding on to the idea. Now, according to Karan’s Twitter post, “All “conjectures” on my next directorial venture are completely untrue! Am still writing my next and will only cast it when I am done….”, it seems like fans will have to acknowledge the fact that it's not going to happen.

Ranbir is currently busy with the Sanjay Dutt biopic while on the other hand, SRK is preparing for Anand L. Rai’s upcoming project. Ranbir will next be seen in ‘Jagga Jasoos’ which is expected to hit theatres on May 12. Shah Rukh was last seen in ‘Raees’ and is expected to be seen in Salman Khan’s ‘Tubelight’ but, in a cameo appearance.
