Mumbai - If reports are to be believed then Bollywood beauty Kareena Kapoor has been signed to play the role of the leading lady in the Bollywood remake of Telugu super-hit Arundathi. Earlier, different reports have come that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Katrina Kaif, or Rani Mukherjee will essay the role played by Anushka in the original film. Gemini Film Circuit has bagged the Hindi remake rights of the Kodi Ramakrishna-directed film, which earned a whopping Rs. 30 crores at the box office. It is reported that Sonu Sood will be the main villain in the film.
