Kareena joins ‘The Shaukeens’ bandwagon

Barely a day after we reported that Abhishek Bachchan has shot for a hilarious cameo in Abhishek Sharma’s, The Shaukeens, we hear that Kareena Kapoor Khan has also come in for a brief appearance. The actress was recently seen shooting with the unit in a Mumbai studio.

Slated for release on November 7^th, The Shaukeens has already been stimulating audience’s nerves with interesting prospects. The music and promos have been able to create a healthy atmosphere in film’s favour and with Jr. Bachchan and Kareena joining the scene, it goes all more interesting. Director Abhishek Sharma spoke about it and said, "I had never worked with Kareena before this, when she is in front of the camera, she is just electrifying. And she has such great comic timing - we had a blast." 

Though Kareena wasn’t available to make any comments about it, a source revealed, “When the two met at the shoot, Kareena and Sharma got along like a house on fire. Though she hadn't seen his first film (Tere Bin Laden), she told him she had heard great things about it. She even expressed a keen desire to watch The Shaukeens before she leaves for Delhi in the first week of November for a film shooting." The Shaukeens is a modern comedy that stars Akshay Kumar, Lisa Haydon, Annu Kapoor, Anupam Kher and Piyush Mishra in prominent roles.
