A rivalry between two most beautiful ladies in Bollywood, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Deepika Padukone, sparked off when in 2009 director Imtiaz Ali signed the latter in his Love Aaj Kal over the former, though she did a great job in his 2007-film Jab We Met. The lead actresses of the tinsel town once again made it to the headlines when Deepika reportedly replaced Kareena in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela. But a sporting Kareena is not at all perturbed with the recent success of her rival, rather flattered with the talents and versatility of Deepika.

Praising her contemporary though younger star Deepika, Kareena said, "Deepika is talented, and she continues to do good work. I have seen her work. She is a brave actress, and that's a good sign because I like brave actors.” A never-regretful lady Kareena added, "In fact, I have never regretted not doing any film. Deepika deserves every bit of this success… she has worked really hard to get where she is. My only advice (to her) would be, 'Enjoy every moment,' because that's just the way it goes."

Some reports revealed recently that Deepika is likely to replace Kareena again, this time in Shuddhi. Kareena said on the same, "I think Karan Johar (producer) clarified it immediately. I have no idea where that came from. There's no truth to it at all. The film has just been delayed due to (co-star) Hrithik Roshan's illness." Reports also added that Kareena was annoyed over the published reports and called Karan for confirmation. Kareena brushed all such reports saying, "I didn't call Karan; he called me up because I don't even read (these stories). I am like, 'Let people write.' But he said, 'No, let me tweet.' I said, 'Whatever you want.'"
