Kareena Kapoor to wed Saif Ali Khan today

The much talked about wedding of Bollywood superstars Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan is finally happening today. However, the pre-wedding celebrations began Sunday night itself with a privatesangeetceremony at Kareena's Bandra residence. According to insiders, Saifeena will have a registered marriage today at Saif's house in Mumbai in the presence of only very close relatives and friends of both Kapoor and Khan families.

According to sources, Saif's ancestral home Pataudi Palace in Haryana is also being readied for the couple’s 'nikaah' tomorrow which will be followed by two receptions in Mumbai and Delhi. The groom will reportedly wear anachkandesigned by Raghuvendra Rathore, while the bride will wear mother-in-law Sharmila Tagore’s traditionalshararawhich has been recreated by designer Ritu Kumar. In the meantime reports have come that police had turned up at Kareena’s residence door during theSangeetceremony. According to sources, the cops showed up at 1.15 am after a complaint of loud music was received from one of the residents of the apartment. An eyewitness said, "A group of policemen arrived at the building, went up to the actor's penthouse and asked them to stop the music. There was no music for some time, but after a few minutes, they started playing songs loudly.''
