Katrina injures herself while shooting for Fitoor

Katrina Kaif has earned herself a new headline, unluckily a sad one this time. The actress, while shooting for Abhishek Kapoor’s Fitoor injured herself. She was apparently riding a horse when the minor accident happened.

According to sources, Katrina, who is a trained horse rider was riding one for a crucial scene. As she was in the middle of the shot, something happened to make her lose balance and almost taking on the ground. However, she regained her balance and completed the shot. Unfortunately, the quick actions made her hurt her neck and leg. While the injury isn’t reported to be a major one, she will still be advised for some rest.

Abhishek Kapoor was mighty impressed with her commitment and complimented her for having taken such risk. The film, which is an on screen adaptation of Charles Dickens’s novel Great Expectations, is in the last leg of its schedule and will release later this year. The film also stars Aditya Roy Kapoor and Rekha in key roles.
