Katrina Kaif, Aditya Roy Kapoor’s ‘Fitoor’ to release in Valentine's Week 2016

The Valentine’s Day slot for next year seems to be getting all crowded already. With Divya Khosla’s Sanam Re already confirmed to release on February 12^th next year, the subsequent prospect is even bigger.

The makers of Aditya Roy Kapoor and Katrina Kaif starrer Fitoor have decided to come on the same week of Valentine’s Day and will release on February 12^th. The film also stars Rekha and Lara Dutta. While Sanam Re is also a romantic flick starring Pulkit Samrat, Yami Gautam and Urvashi Rautela, Fitoor would appear to be a preferred choice in the same genre. The film is an onscreen adaptation of Charles Dickens’s novel ‘Great Expectations’.

Valentine’s Day slot is being eyed as a healthy an apt time slot for a romantic film to release. Divya, who wanted to release Sanam Re this year itself was later advised to move to Valentine’s day. Fitoor on the other hand is also well on course of its schedule and could have easily released this year. With makers wanting to treat us with a romantic Valentine’s day, we welcome their decision.
