Katrina Kaif rubbishes reports of her engagement

Bollywood diva Katrina Kaif is amused with reports of her engagement with actor and beau Ranbir Kapoor hitting headlines. Buzz was that the 31-year-old secretly exchanged rings with Ranbir during her New Year vacation with her family in London, where Ranbir, too joined in. It was reported that the two got engaged in a private ceremony in the presence of Katrina’s family and the Kapoor family including Rishi and Neetu flying down from Mumbai. Adding fodder to the buzz was a ring that was spotted on Katrina's finger during her recent appearance at the annual Umang Mumbai Police Show held last week. Rubbishing it all, however, Katrina’s spokesperson has now confirmed that there is absolutely no truth to these reports.

“Katrina Kaif did not get engaged in a secret ceremony in London. There is absolutely no truth to the rumours," insists the Bang Bang! girl’s spokesperson. Meanwhile, buzz is also that the lovebirds have moved in together to a cozy pad on Carter Road, Bandra, Mumbai. The two have appeared in films including Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani (2009) and Raajneeti (2010), and will next be seen in Ranbir’s co-production, Jagga Jasoos.
