Khalnayak Returns, Quite Literally!

    Khalnayak Returns, Quite Literally!

We may be completely judgmental in deciphering this theory but as soon as Sanjay Dutt completed his jail sentence, he had a tag under his name that says ‘Khalnayak Returns’. It was Subhash Ghai who back in early 90’s crowned him with the title of Khalnayak and earned him one of his biggest blockbusters to date. The same man is by his side again cashing in on an opportunity to resurface Baba’s stardom along with his own.

Subhash Ghai has announced the sequel to his blockbuster with Sanju Baba in the lead and has titled it Khalnayak Returns. The film with Sanjay Dutt in the lead will not be directed by Ghai himself but will pretty much revamp the bad boy image of the actor. We haven’t seen much of him in the last few years courtesy of his prison in time Pune’s Yerwada  jail but now that Baba is a free man, he doesn’t have an image to carry and can be as bad as he wants.

    Khalnayak Returns, Quite Literally!

It is pretty ironic how the announcement of this film comes more as an attempt to reintroduce Sanjay in the times when he badly needs a second innings breakthrough. You think of the title and picture a deadly Sanjay Dutt who at this point of time doesn’t have anything to lose. All he has by his side is no bulk of pending court cases or remaining jail sentences and a promising filmy journey ahead. It is high time he introspects and not be too scared to experiment. Weather Khalnayak Returns is a right decision in that direction, only time will tell. What it reflects is, he is ready to not be bothered by public media imagery and do what he does best. He’s the best when it comes to being bad and we can’t think of a better way for him to reestablish himself.

Sanju Baba has had a legacy of making comebacks. From his earlier prison times to drug addiction to break ups to the very moment, he’s come back and he’s made it big.

We like him the best being bad and if this is what he feels can reinvent his big screen persona, we are with him! #KhalnayakReturns
