King Khan Struck With A Notice Of Rs. 5.59 Lakh From Varanasi Police

Recently, Shah Rukh Khan received a legal notice from Varanasi Police to complete the payment of Rs. 5.59 lakh, reported DNA. The King of Bollywood had employed police security during the promotional event of his recent flick ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ in Varanasi. As many as 224 police personnel were positioned for the security of actors and makers.

Senior Superintendent of Police, R.K. Bhardwaj revealed that the organizers only deposited a part of the total pay. The total salary amounted to Rs. 6.11 lakh of which only Rs. 51,132 had been received. The organisers, however, claim to have made their complete share of payment. “We have requested the police department to recover the remaining amount from Shah Rukh Khan and his team for providing them security for their other program in the city”, said organiser Ankit Maurya. “Majority of the police personnel [were] deployed from the airport to Shah Rukh Khan’s private programs and his visit to ghats and other places in Varanasi”, he added.

The promotional event was organised at Ashoka Institute of Technology and Management, Varanasi. At the event, Shah Rukh shared the stage with leading lady Anushka Sharma, director Imtiaz Ali and Bhojpuri superstar Manoj Tiwari. The heart throbbing actor left the audience enchanted with his charisma and wit.
