Know How Shahid Kapoor Is Refining Himself For ‘Padmavati’

Currently, occupied in the filming of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’, Shahid is leaving no stone unturned to make the period drama film successful. The 35-year-old actor will be playing Rawal Ratan Singh, husband of Rani Padmini, the queen of Chittor, played by Deepika Padukone in the film.

Sources have divulged that Shahid is learning fencing and horse-riding to make his role in the forthcoming film look more lifelike. Shahid has been undergoing training sessions. For role of a ruler, skills of fencing and horse-riding are significant. They help to bring the real scenario to life on screen.

Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, ‘Padmavati’ features Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor as main leads. The film is scheduled to release on November 17, 2017. Bhansali’s films are known for its ace class cinematography, costumes and perfection. It was reported earlier this year that Sanjay rejected multiple designers who presented costumes for Rani Padmavati.
