Lara does a song after 4 years

Lara Dutta has done a song for a film after four years. “We shot a song on the beach. The last time I did a song was for Don 2, four years ago. And now I had to perform Prabhudheva's choreography", Lara told Mumbai Mirror. The 37-year-old actress agreed to be a part of the film because of her friendly ties with Akshay Kumar.

"Mine is the only character who's not in Charles Dickens's book. She fills a void in artist Noor's (Aditya Roy-Kapur) life as friend and mentor till he abruptly loses her", says Lara. The actress fractured her foot, after two days of shooting.  But, the actress was back on the sets after three days. "That's an actor's glamorous life", she added.

The actress also said that she got many chances to make appearances in Hollywood, but would never trade it in for Bollywood. "I had my opportunities when I was living in New York after my Miss Universe win but though I've lived alone since I was 16, it's tough living in another country without a support system. Now, I have far more access to the A-listers but I can't think of uprooting my family. It's not even financially viable", she said.
