Lara Dutta back to action

The maternity leave for former Miss Universe Lara Dutta is over as she is planning to get back to movies soon. The Chalo Dilli actress has also revealed that she will be shooting for a film this year.

In 2010 Lara entered the wedlock with tennis player Mahesh Bhupathi and in 2012 the couple was blessed with a baby girl. Since then the actress has not been seen in any major role in Bollywood movies. Lara said about her comeback plans, "Right now I am focusing only on doing films. I am definitely going to be back in films, you will see me soon. I am shooting this year, the release is not in my hands. I can't talk about which films I am doing.”

She further added, "Everyone knows that we are doing a sequel to Chalo Dilli, that is in pre-production stage. I am quite excited about it. Besides this, there are films that I am doing outside my production house.” Her last major film was Chalo Dilli in 2011 which starred her opposite Vinay Pathak in the lead. Now Lara is getting prepared for its sequel, Chalo China. The Housefull actress disclosed, "There is a lot happening this year with my production house Bheegi Basanti Entertainment. We are producing films and TV shows.” Bollywood actors are becoming common faces on the small screens too but Lara clarified that she has no plans to join her industry friends.
