Madhuri Dixit Nene turns 48 today

Madhuri Dixit Nene, who looks younger than her age, has turned 48 today. Most popular for her dancing skills and expressions, the Dhak Dhak girl has a career spanning over three decades, in which she has acted in more than 100 movies, that include Dil, Tezaab, Pukar, etc. Apart from various Bollywood awards, Madhuri was conferred Padma Shri in 2008.

The Hum Aapke Hain Kaun star left Bollywood in 2001 after she tied the knot with Dr. Shriram Nene and shifted to the U.S. Last, she acted in Devdas opposite Shah Rukh Khan, which released in 2002. She made her comeback in Bollywood with Yash Raj Film’s Aaja Nachle (2007), which could not sprout well at the box office yet Madhuri’s performance stunned the audiences.

Since then, she has done many movies such as Gulaab Gang and Dedh Ishqiya. Her ‘Ghagra’ song in Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani featured sparking chemistry between her and Ranbir Kapoor. The Rockstar was highly praised for matching up with the unbeatable dance moves of the dancing diva.
