Makers Of Vidya Balan Starrer ‘Tumhari Sulu’ May Add Statutory Warning In The Movie

Bollywood diva Vidya Balan ’s latest movie ‘Tumhari Sulu’ was released on November 17, 2017. The movie revolves around the life of a cheerful housewife and her nuclear family. The movie has recently landed into trouble for collaborating with cough syrup, which requires prescription from doctor before consumption.

The movie has come under the eye of Food and Drug Association for collaborating with the cough syrup that comprises of ingredients that can affect one’s health. According to the FDA officials, the cough syrup is being inspected and an advisory note will be sent to the production house of the movie for promoting the cough syrup without any proper guidance. The commissioner of FDA stated that the makers of the movie will be asked to include a statutory warning stating that the syrup shall be taken under the guidance of a doctor only.

‘Tumhari Sulu’ is bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar under the banner of T Series and Tanuj Garg under the banner of Ellipsis Entertainment . The movie also stars Manav Kaul. ‘Tumhari Sulu’ is helmed and penned by Suresh Triveni.
