Makers sketching a sequel to Ek Paheli Leela

The makers of Sunny Leone starrer recently released Ek Paheli Leela are planning to go ahead with a sequel of the project. The encouraging box office response and a wider acceptance have prompted the producers to create the sequel. The film that has fared quite well at the box office in its opening week, is produced by T-Series chief Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar and co-produced by Ahmed Khan.

While Sunny Leone herself is keen to turn this reincarnation drama into a franchise, the kind of returns the makers have got, is pretty exciting too. The moderately budgeted movie has crossed the 25 crore mark at the box office and has already yielded profits. The film has been directed Bobby Khan.

According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, co-producer Ahmed Khan shared his plans of giving a sequel to the film. "We already had an idea for a sequel, even while we were shooting Ek Paheli Leela. We wanted to see how the first film is received. Ek Paheli Leela has proved profitable for all of us. We are very happy. Both my friend and partner Bhushan Kumar and I were very happy to work with Sunny. She is a thorough professional and her husband is the least interfering guy I've seen in an actress' life. It'd be a pleasure to work with Sunny again," he said.
