Midweek B.O. – Bang Bang and Haider hold steady

As predicted, the box office didn’t see any special mobilisation during the week, after all new releases found their fate turning cold straight away. It was anyway going to be a Bang Bang and Haider week but the complete silence of the box office has stated for itself.

Both Bang Bang and Haider taking the advantage of no competition held themselves steady and continued to add good chunk in their accounts. While Bang Bang garnered more than 3 crores on Wednesday, Haider too had a decent mid week figure. The Shahid Kapoor starrer earned around 1.56 crores on Wednesday and made its tally rise up to 54 crores, while Bang Bang on the other side kept performing and has marched its tally up at 165 crores. The Hrithik-Katrina starrer is still finding some good audience and will only see a break when Happy New Year arrives. Both films as a matter of fact have one more vacant week to perform since there is no major release lined up for release this Friday either. Rekha’s Super Nani will open in theatres tomorrow trying to put challenge on the present films. Let’s see how it turns out.
