Mink Brar may face legal action for spreading false rumours about Jagdish Mali

The controversy around noted film photographerJagdish Mali, father of former Bollywood actress Antara Mali, doesn’t seem to be ending as his family is reportedly planning to take legal action against Mink Brar, participant of recently concludedBigg Boss 6.Few days ago, the model-actress informed media that she had spotted Jagdish in a semi-nude condition and contacted Bollywood superstar Salman Khan for help. However, Antara refuted all such claims that his father was roaming disoriented and dishevelled on the streets of the city and now the photographer himself has also termed all the reports a lie and a publicity stunt. Director Ashoke Pandit, who is a close friend of Jagdish, said, "This is so wrong! We're shocked at the lengths people go to just to get publicity. What is Mink Brar talking about? Jaggu (Jagdish) is not a crazed-out wanderer on the streets. We don't know what she saw, or rather didn't see. All we know is someone somewhere misinformed the press".

Ashoke said that now Jagdish's family and friends have decided to send a legal notice to Mink. "What she has done is wrong. It is very unfair to Jaggu and his daughter Antara. She is a good daughter. She takes good care of her father. We are taking legal action against Ms. Brar for serving up misinformation to the media for her own interests. You can't do this to someone who defined glam-journalism in the 1970s just because he is no longer in demand," he stated. Talking about the incident, Jagdish said, "I left my home in Andheri, dressed very casually, and walked till Versova, because I've been advised to take long walks. All of a sudden, I felt my sugar levels dip and was completely out of breath. I sat outside a friend's shop and asked him to get me a bar of chocolate. I guess some chocolate was smeared on my face and I probably looked odd. But surely, that is not reason enough for someone to jump the gun and go to the media with a hard-luck story.''
