Miss Lovely enters the Cannes Film Festival 2012

New Delhi - Eminent director, Ashim Ahluwalias Miss Lovely will be showcased at this years Cannes Film Festival as part of the Un Certain Regard section. The movie discloses about Bombays C grade film industry and stars Kahaani fame actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Niharika Singh and Anil George. Feeling very happy and honoured. I knew that the film was being considered for the festival but since there was no formal announcement I was not very sure. I am leaving for US shortly for the screening of my other film 'Patang', after which I will definitely attend Cannes with my director and co-actors, Nawazuddin told PTI. The film festival will begin on May 16 with Wes Anderson's Moonrise Kingdom as the opening film and Claude Millers Therese Desqueyroux as the closing film.
