Much-acclaimed Om Puri returning to theatre after 25 years

Veteran Bollywood actor Om Puri is returning to theatre after 25 years, sources said. The critically-acclaimed actor will be in Delhi on December 18 to participate in the Punjabi Theatre Festival which starts from December 19. Puri will be playing the part of Zulfikar Haider in the Indian adaptation of A R Gurney's playLove Letter opposite Bollywood actress Divya Dutta who will essay the role of Amrita Nigam.

One of the organizers of this festival informed, "Yes, Om Puri is making a comeback in theatre with this play. I've been requesting him to do this play for the last one year. Now that he's agreed, we'll see him on stage on 19th."
