My dream role would probably be the one played by Kajol in Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, says Deepika Padukone

Leggy lass Deepika Padukone is dominating box office’s numbers this year with hits like Race 2, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Chennai Express and her next will be Ram-Leela. The actress has now expressed her love for Kajol’s character that she played in Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge (1995) and has said that she would want to enact that someday on screen.

Deepika quoted, “I love Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jaayenge and my dream role would probably be the one played by Kajol in the film. I saw DDLJ when I was growing up and that was the time when I was just getting exposed to Hindi cinema. I remember watching films such as Dil, Darr, Hum Hain Rahi Pyaar Ke, Baazigar and Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jaayenge.”
