Naseeruddin Shah, Pankaj Kapur to come together for Company Ustad

Two big guns of Bollywood, Naseeruddin Shah and Pankaj Kapur may share the screen space in Company Ustad. Young filmmaker Nitin Chandra is going to direct the film and he has approached the two to act in his project. Naseer and Kapur are tow brilliant actors of our nation but have not worked together ever.

Nitin said, “It was really Naseer Saab and Pankaj Saab and no one else for these parts. The characters they were offered are rare in Indian cinema. The film is a bio-pic and those two roles are rigorously researched and designed. I have been working on the characters for four years. The script is powerful enough to invite the presence of actors like Naseer, Pankaj and Manoj Bajpai.”

The maker has also added, “They have challenging roles to play. I'd like to think they saw honesty in my intentions and were quite taken up by the narrative.” Moreover, Kapur has expressed his interest to work with Shah. He quoted, “I'd love to work with Pankaj. He is a fine actor. But the script has to justify our presence.” If all goes well then it would be really amazing to see both of them together.
